HOOKSETT, NEW HAMPSHIRE – August 6, 2000 – CommonGround Softworks Inc. today announces the release of Qilan version 1.2.
"This release makes numerous improvements to our software development tool for producing powerful internet database systems. Qilan provides database adaptors for Frontbase, Helix, Openbase and Oracle. In version 1.2 we have added improvements to speed the construction of Qilan web sites and improve performance with the latest releases of FrontBase and OpenBase. The 1.2 release is a free upgrade for existing Qilan users."
Other new features include:
- New "Capture" operator tag
- Improved debug and SQL error logging
- Improvements to copying, dragging, duplicating and pasting multiple Qilan objects.
- Improvements to import and export of external database schema
- Improved SQL generation
The new features enhance the development environment for the creation of user entry/output screens, logical data manipulation and data base access. With Qilan, the developer can easily link SQL database engines with the world wide web.
